Hello, I'm Alex, a wedding filmmaker based in Southern California.

In 2023, my wife Valeria, our corgi Varya, and I moved from Russia to California. Back home, Valeria and I had already built a wedding photography and videography studio together. Starting over here meant discovering new places, meeting new people, and finding new stories to tell.

Sometimes it's the smallest things I remember most. The way the fabric moved during the ceremony, raindrops on a window, or a bird that happened to land nearby. So many little moments pass through my lens, often unnoticed by everyone else. Together with the words, emotions, and people who were there, they become part of something more than a simple recap of the day. A film with its own rhythm and a story that feels deeply personal. One that draws you in, makes you laugh or cry, and gives you a reason to watch it all over again.

My work has been recognized by California Wedding Day among the best wedding videographers in California.

Every couple receives a wedding film and a shorter highlight film. I work independently or with a second videographer, with full ceremony and speech recordings available when a second videographer is included.

Videography can be booked on its own. Photography is offered through our separate studio at italiantsev.us.
